 Father may be suspicious. I'm worried, as he spoke of punishment coming to any and all who changed the script of Nikias' tombstone. What if he thinks someone else did it and they are unjustly harmed? Good Night...

I spoke with my trainer, Elizabeth. She encouraged me and helped me rid myself of the fear. Now to talk with Rehema and perhaps Zeben.

Jaira's Journal-Fourth Entry

The bones course is almost over. I must face my fear, or harm those I mean to help. I am going to talk with my Empathy instructor and Rehema tomorrow.

Adira's Journal, Entry Four

 Mission a success! I have learned to shape inanimate parts of my surroundings and successfully changed Nikias' inscription. Now, we must hope Father does not learn of this.. Good night.

Adira's Journal, Entry Three

 I think Hermokrates guessed what I am up to. He told me that we were working on Manipulating Life today, and he would teach me to use Chameleokinesis on objects and people later. I will have to keep trying. Good Night!

Jaira's Journal-Third Entry

 Father, Mother, and Rehema congratulated me on my success today. I did not voice my fear. Rehema and I are learning to identify bones, their places, and  how to Heal them over this week. I don't have to do Empathy until we are done. I think that is good, as my fear would go into my patients if I attempted to help them.

Adira's Journal, Entry Two

I defeated Nikias easily, and healed his mortal wound, but Father... had him executed. And punished me. He also had Nikias' tombstone be inscribed with "This man suffered the fate of those who challenge royalty." Perhaps I can persuade Hermokrates to teach me to change my surroundings and not just my appearance via Chameleokinesis. Good night!

Jaira's Journal-Second Entry

 I had to put my lesson of yesterday into practice today. Zeben was wounded by a Wereian asassin, and he refuses to have any Healers other than Rehema and myself. Rehema was off learning her Teller lessons, so I was called on. Thank goodness, I succeeded. He is fully capable of doing whatever he wishes. If I had failed my brother.. I don't know what I, or the rest of the family would have done. After all, I am only an adopted Avaryan..

Adira's journal, Entry One

Hermokrates asked me why I was polishing my staff earlier. Well, one of the guards insulted my skill at Manipulations. Father, being the usual blind and senseless warrior, ordered me to fight Nikias to the death. I will not kill, but perhaps I can mortally wound and heal?

Jaira's journal-First Entry

Today Rehema and I learned to heal stab wounds, and I was taught how to treat depression when you are too low to use the preferred Manipulations. Apparently, all you can do is ask gentle questions and listen-pretty much what you do normally, but without trying to heal the pain.
